The Hem Project is a Christ‑centered 501(c)(3) organization dedicated to sharing God’s love through simple, intentional acts of kindness. Rooted in Matthew 14:36, we believe that even the smallest touch — the hem of His garment — carries the power to restore hope, strengthen faith, and remind people that God has not forgotten them.
Our mission is to “pay it forward” in ways that are gentle, personal, and Spirit‑prompted. Whether through a handwritten note, a small gift, a meal, or a moment of encouragement, we seek to reach those who may be quietly struggling, feeling unseen, or holding on by a thread. Each act is a reminder that God sees you, God loves you, and God is near.
We exist to be a tangible expression of Christ’s compassion, creating ripples of kindness that inspire others to do the same — one hem‑touch at a time.
Compassionate Outreach — meeting people in their everyday moments with grace-filled encouragement.
Faith-Based Encouragement — offering reminders of God’s presence through Scripture, prayer, and kindness.
Healing Hope — pointing hearts back to Jesus, the One who heals with a touch.
Holding Christ's Love — reminding those who may feel unseen that God always sees them.
Then those who were in the boat worshiped him, saying, “Truly you are the Son of God.” When they had crossed over, they landed at Gennesaret. And when the men of that place recognized Jesus, they sent word to all the surrounding country. People brought all their sick to him and begged him to let the sick just touch the edge of his cloak, and all who touched it were healed.
